Terms of Service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of AI Teacherly, including its website, web platform, and mobile applications (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent, guardian, teacher, or school administrator, you confirm that you have authority to agree for the organization or child you represent.

Eligibility and children

Parents or legal guardians must create and supervise accounts for children under 13 and provide any consent required by law. Schools may provide access to students under their own agreements and legal obligations. Do not create an account or use the Service if you cannot legally agree to these Terms.

Accounts and responsibility

  • Provide accurate information and keep account credentials confidential.
  • Notify us promptly of unauthorized access or suspected security issues.
  • Parents and schools are responsible for supervising children's use.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Educational information and AI limitations

AI Teacherly provides educational support, not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. AI-generated explanations may be incomplete or incorrect. Users should verify important information and teachers or parents should use independent judgment when reviewing content or progress data. The Service does not guarantee a grade, score, learning outcome, or uninterrupted availability.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, abusively, or to harm a child or another person.
  • Submit content that infringes rights, contains malware, or exposes unnecessary sensitive data.
  • Attempt to bypass security, probe systems, scrape the Service, or reverse engineer it.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent school, parent, or guardian authority.
  • Use the Service to build or train a competing service without permission.

Your content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant AI Teacherly a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, adapt, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it, including any voice, image, or child-related content.

Our intellectual property

The Service, software, designs, trademarks, and original content belong to AI Teacherly or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended educational purpose. No ownership is transferred to you.

Trials, subscriptions, and refunds

Pricing, trial length, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown at sign-up or checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Payment providers may impose their own terms. Any refund rights required by law remain unaffected; otherwise, refunds are handled under the offer presented at purchase.

Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services, and AI Teacherly is not responsible for third-party availability or practices.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, non-payment, or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service and request deletion at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, AI Teacherly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required. Questions can be sent to privacy@aiteacherly.com.
